Fish Cake  ·  For a fisherman's birthday, make a fish cake. Press a 3/4-inch layer of Cake-Shaping Clay into the bottom of deep, round pan, and coat it with powdered sugar. The fish may be freely formed, or you can use a fish object from around the house to make an indentation: place a sheet of plastic wrap over the clay. Then place a plastic/wooden fish on top of the plastic wrap, and firmly press it into the clay, using a rocking motion. Remove the plastic wrap and smooth any bumps that may have formed around the edges of the tool shapes. Spray the pan and clay with cooking spray, and pour cake batter such that the batter is about 3/4-inch above the highest portion of the clay. Bake until done, loosen the cake from the sides of the pan, and invert the pan. To make the wavy frosting, generously frost the cake. Then lightly press a spoon into the icing and lift it up away from the cake.
